Celebrating its 11th year, Villa Charities Giro is a salute to the legendary Giro d'Italia- now in its 100th year! Giro is a premier cycling event which starts and finishes at Eagles Nest Golf Club in Maple and takes cyclists through the hills of Vaughan, the countryside of Caledon and other challenging surrounding areas. Villa Charities Giro was co-founded in 2006 by Mr. Edward Sorbara and at the time, brought out 50 keen cyclists and featured Italian-themed rest stops along the route. The event has gained popularity over the years and is considered the most elite cycling event in the community with over 260 participants in 2016 and the tradition of Italian-themed food and drink before, during and after the ride. Villa Charities Giro offers a 60 or 100 kilometre cycling route, plenty of delicious and nutritious food and a great opportunity to network pre and post ride.

Thank you to all who participated in 2016 and we look forward to seeing you in 2017!
